the important stuff

  • The CB100 is a challenging long distance ultra suitable for more experienced ultra runners and walkers.

Although you'd find a lot of the route is actually downhill, there is over 6000 ft of elevation on the 104 miles.

You are able to have a support runner with you after the 2nd checkpoint, just over 20 miles into the routes.

If you are planning to run unsupported you'll need to provide proof of completion of a previous event of over 80 miles. Please contact us before you enter, as without this we won't be able to accept your entry. We are happy for you to run unsupported up to your longest previous event length, but then you must have support runners for the remaining distance.

Relay team entries should have a minimum of 2 runners and a maximum of 4. You will need to arrange your own transport to changeover points along the route.

  • Friday 3rd October to Sunday 5th October 2025.

    Registration 10.00 - 11.45am Friday 3rd October 2025

Event start and registration is at Dufton Methodist Chapel, CA16 6DD

Trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in male, female, non-binary, and relay.

We are proudly working with Trees Not Tees to give you the option of planting a tree instead of taking a tee. You’ll also have the option of paying to plant a tree as well as having a finishers t-shrt.

  • Bookings may be transferred to another runner, providing this is done 4 weeks before the event. This can be done via our booking partner, Si Entries.

We do not offer refunds under any circumstances. You may choose to protect your booking with XCover when you first sign up.

  • Will we received a race pack email?

We will be emailing final details four weeks before the race, along with a printable route map and description which will include details of the checkpoints.

  • Cath & Tim first met as children in 1991, so we go back a long way!

Tim is a highly experienced ultra runner, with a huge passion for the outdoors. He works as a nurse in the NHS, loves chocolate, and hates coffee.

Cath is a marathon runner and loves being in the great outdoors. She is a professional photographer, loves chocolate, and LOVES coffee..

As runners who started off as walkers, and who are still very keen walkers, we wanted to make our event as inclusive as possible, with a cut off long enough to allow it to be walked if running isn’t your thing.

From the first to cross the line, to the final finisher, we’ll be cheering you all on - you’re all equally important to us!

We are passionate about our commitment to making all our events as environmentally friendly as possible. We have pledged to have no single-use plastics at our events, including check point snacks. We have a strong bond with Trees not Tees, and are encouraging the planting of a tree either instead of a finishers T-Shirt, or as well as.. because that's the best of both worlds!
